WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre (D-7th) announced Tuesday that Wilmington International Airport has received $900,408 in federal funds for security enhancements.
The U.S. Congress has appropriated these funds through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
“Security improvements and enhancement are critical to passenger and airplane safety and these federal funds will help the Wilmington Airport in both regards,” McIntyre said in a press release. “Congratulations to Director Jon Rosborough and all the fine folks at the airport for their work in securing these funds.”
