Monday, March 30
The New Hanover County Schools Curriculum Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St. An agenda was not posted by press.
Tuesday, March 31
The Oak Island Planning Board will host a regular meeting at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers. Meetings can be accessed here and here; the agenda includes:
- A text amendment proposal to add a shopping center greater and lesser than 30,000 sq ft enclosed floor area and printing, publishing, & engraving establishments as by-right uses in the community business zoning district
- Request to rezone PID 249DI001 from commercial recreation to community business zoning district
- Proposed text amendment to remove swimming pools from Section 7.2 and accessory structure definition

The Wilmington Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. in the Skyline Center, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Amend City Code Chapter 18, Section 18-43 and 18-44 (c) for revisions to CBD district-specific standards.
- 136 E. Westwood Drive: General district rezoning of the property containing .349ac +/- (Parcel ID R05105-001-018-000) located at 136 E Westwood Drive from MH, Manufactured Housing to R-15 Moderate density single-swelling district.
Thursday, April 2
Pender County Technical Review Committee will take up multiple projects at 9 a.m. at 805 S. Walker St., according to the agenda. Among them:
- Point South Residential and Commercial master plan development: 881 varied residences, plus commercial space on 78.5 acres
- Arcuri’s construction business site plan development: 2,850 square foot building
- Piver Tract residential development: 358 homes on 147 acres
