Monday, Feb. 2
The Burgaw Board of Commissioners special meeting and work session has been rescheduled for Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. in the Burgaw Town Center.
Tuesday, Feb. 3
The Wilmington City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Skyline Center, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Ordinance Making a Supplemental Appropriation in the Amount of $1,000,000 to the Parks and Recreation Capital Projects Fund for the Acquisition of Real Property Suitable for the Development of a New Park
- Resolution Requesting Further Review of the Wilmington Harbor 403 Project

The Wrightsville Beach Planning Board will host a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. An agenda was not posted by press.
The New Hanover County Board of Elections will have a special meeting at 5 p.m. in the Board Room at the Board of Elections Office, at 226 Government Center Drive, to review absentee ballot applications and discuss other election-related matters as needed. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pender County Board of Elections will meet Feb. 3, 6 p.m. at 305 S. Walker St. An agenda was not posted by press.
Brunswick County Board of Elections will meet Feb. 3, 4 p.m. at Commissioners’ Chambers, 30 Government Center Dr., Bolivia. The meeting can be streamed here but an agenda was not published by press.
Wednesday, Feb. 4
The Wilmington Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m.. in the Skyline Center, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- 5324 Wrightsville Avenue: Conditional district rezoning of the property containing .386 acres +/- from R-15 Moderate-density single-dwelling district to R-5 Medium Density mixed residential district
Cape Fear Public Authority Finance Committee meets at 8 a.m. in the Jordan Room at 235 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes a $300,000 contract with Cape Fear Engineering, Inc. for on-call water distribution and sanitary sewer engineering professional services. The Executive Committee meets after at 4 p.m. and the agenda is here.
The State Board of Elections will meet at the State Board of Elections offices, located at the third floor of the Dobbs Building, 430 N. The Bald Head Island Village Council will host a regular meeting at 10 a.m. at the Public Safety Complex. The agenda includes:

- Closeout Beach Renourishment Capital Project

The Surf City Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in the Surf City Municipal Complex. The agenda includes a presentation on the Pender County revaluation and consideration of a budget ordinance amendment for the multi-use path project. The meeting will livestream here.
Thursday, Feb. 5
The Pender County Technical Review Committee will meet at 9 a.m., 805 S. Walker Street in Burgaw. The agenda includes review of a master plan revision for the community aquatic lifestyle center, and review of site plans for the SouthState Bank in Hampstead.
The UNCW Board of Trustees will hold committee meetings beginning at 10 a.m. in the UNCW Burney Center, 601 S. College Road. The agendas can be viewed here.
The New Hanover County Planning Board will meet at 5 p.m. in the NHC Courthouse, 24 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
