Monday, Oct. 13
The Brunswick County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. in the Brunswick County Government Center. The agenda includes three public hearings:
- a rezoning request for 0.01 acres of tax parcel 230PG014 from undesignated to R-6000 (high density residential),
- consideration of the proposed Bayshore Planned Development consisting of 136 single-family units, 22 semi-attached units, and 6 townhome units on approximately 46.64 acres near Holden Beach
- Consideration of the proposed Woodland Reserve Planned Development consisting of 209 single-family units on approximately 81.87 acres near Bolivia.

Leland Town Council agenda review meeting takes place at 1 p.m. at Fire Station 51. Council will discuss project updates, ordinance research and more. It’s open to the public.

Tuesday, Oct. 14
The New Hanover County Schools Policy Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Policy 2230 – Board Committees
- Policy 2310 – Public Participation at Board Meetings
- Policy 2610 – Board Attorney
The Carolina Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m., in Council Chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Boulevard. The agenda includes consideration of a request to rezone 205 Cape Fear Blvd from Mixed Use to Central Business District. Also, an ordinance amendment to revert the 200 block of Wilson Ave for one-way traffic. The meeting will livestream here.
The Burgaw Board of Commissioners will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Burgaw Town Center. The agenda includes an ordinance amendment to update Bark Park rules and regulations.
Pender County Board of Elections will meet at 6 p.m. at 305 S. Walker St. to go over absentee ballots.
Brunswick County Board of Elections will meet at 4 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers at 30 Government Center Dr. NE to go over absentee ballots.
New Hanover County Board of Elections will meet at 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Board of Elections Office, located at 226 Government Center Drive, to go over absentee ballots and discuss other election matters. The meeting can be streamed here.
Oak Island Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, 4601 E Oak Island Dr. The agenda includes a public hearing for proposed amendments to the city’s code of ordinances and consideration of adopting the CAMA Comprehensive Land Use Plan update. Meetings are streamed here.
The Pender County Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

Wednesday, Oct. 15
H2GO Board of Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. in the RO Treatment Plant Training Room at 146 Gregory Rd. The agenda includes employee holiday bonus consideration and motor repairs to RO feed.
Thursday, Oct. 16

Leland Town Council regular meeting takes place at 6 p.m. at Fire Station 51 and the agenda includes:
- Resolution approving a trade agreement Between the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Leland
- Budget amendment transferring $700,000 to the Founders Park Capital Project Fund
- Public hearing to modify the FlexCode ordinance
The Wilmington Board of Adjustment will meet at 1 p.m. in city hall, 929 N. Front St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- 420 N. Third St.: Variance to City Code Section 18-44: Design standards [Central Business District] to allow a shipping container to remain as built.
