WILMINGTON —The City of Wilmington will host “Celebrate Downtown,” a free, family-friendly event featuring information about city projects, community activities and an outdoor movie, Friday, Oct. 30, at Riverfront Park.
From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., attendees can explore displays about downtown initiatives, meet city staff, ask questions and share feedback about upcoming projects. The event will also include food trucks, Halloween treats, lawn games, music and activities for all ages.
A family-friendly movie will begin at 6:45 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets for the screening. The event will take place at 10 Cowan St.
