WILMINGTON – The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College announced Tuesday that RIAA-certified Gold a cappella group Straight No Chaser will be bringing their newest tour, Straight No Chaser Summer: The 90s, to the Wilson Center stage on Aug. 7, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.

Initially formed at Indiana University, the group emerged at the forefront of the modern-day a cappella movement and has since sold more than three million albums worldwide, garnered more than a billion streams on Pandora alone, and sold more than 1.5 million concert tickets worldwide.

“Our group initially came together in the 90s while we were in college,” said Straight No Chaser member Walter Chase. “For that reason, and so many others, it’s a very special time period for us. We’re so excited to breathe new life into these classic songs that will remind our fans where they were 30 years ago, and maybe even introduce a new generation to why the 90s was such a memorable decade.”

Tickets will be available online to Wilson Center Members beginning at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21, with tickets going on sale online to the general public at 10 a.m. on Feb. 23. Tickets can be purchased online at WilsonCenterTickets.com or by contacting the Ticket Central box office. Ticket Central is open for telephone and in-person sales from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Ticket Central may be reached by telephone at 910.362.7999. Questions may also be directed to tickets@wilsoncentertickets.com.
