Step Up Wilmington welcoming volunteers

WILMINGTON — A local nonprofit dedicated to help people secure and retain quality jobs is welcoming volunteers.

StepUp Wilmington’s mission is to teach people job skills skills, rebuild hope and self-esteem, and create opportunities. It places hundreds of people in the workforce annually.

The nonprofit provides support and training necessary to help people gain stability, in effect impacting lives positively while also strengthening community.

StepUp Wilmington volunteers are needed to help with front desk and administrative tasks, résumé writing, mock interviewing, facilitating, childcare, meal donations and more. To learn more, email caroline@stepupwilmington.org.
