How was your pet’s name chosen?
My husband and I used to ride our motorcycle to the Outer Banks several times a year. He was killed in a motorcycle accident on 7/21/2010. Shortly afterward, I was advised by family and friends to get a dog. When I found the perfect one, I knew it had to have “something to do with the Outer Banks. I thought of calling her “OBX” but that was too weird, so I settled on Banxx. It’s perfect and her name reminds me of the wonderful times we had at the OBX!!
Does your pet have a favorite walking route?
Yes. She loves walking around our neighborhood. She “knows” where everything is located and the different smells.
What is your pet’s favorite food or treat?
She loves Beggin Strips! Funny too, long before he was killed, my husband used to imitate the commercial and made me laugh so hard, I would cry. Every time I give her one, it reminds me of him and I smile. Great memories!!
Does your pet have a pet peeve?
Not really – she’s a wonderful little girl.
If your pet could speak, what would be its favorite word and why?
LOVE!! She loves me soooooooo much!!
