Lady Seahawks ink three players; CFCC men’s soccer to hold open tryouts

WILMINGTON– UNCW head women’s basketball coach Adell Harris has announced the signing of D’Asia Cain (Smynra, Ga./Campbell), Ryan Flowers (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook) and Johanna McMillan (Mullica Hill, N.J./Sanford) to National Letters of Intent.

All three will enroll for the fall 2013 semester and join the Seahawks as freshmen for the 2013-14 season.

“We’re so happy to be adding Johanna, Ryan and D’Asia to our family,” said Harris. “Each of these young women has the ‘ABCs’ – academics, character and basketball – to take our program to a championship level. It’s important that we bring in student-athletes from great high school and great AAU programs as nothing replaces a championship mindset. We want good kids that expect to win and who aren’t afraid to work really hard to make sure it happens.”
