WILMINGTON — As part of her North American tour, Lainey Wilson has announced a stop at Wilmington’s Live Oak Bank Pavilion Oct. 20, 2024.

Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Wilson will be performing 35 shows on her headlining “Country’s Cool Again Tour.” Joining her will be Jackson Dean, Ian Munsick and Zach Top.

This year alone, the performer won four ACM awards, two CMT awards, three PCCA awards and was honored as Billboard Women in Music’s 2023 “Rulebreaker.”

She was also the most nominated artist at this year’s CMA awards, with a record-breaking nine nominations. It marks the fourth artist in CMA Awards history to receive nine or more nominations, following Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson.

In 2022, the Louisiana native earned CMA’s Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. She’s won over crowds with her traditional country song blended with a modern, yet retro flare.

“Nothing gets me buzzin’ like putting on a show and singing along with the crowd,” Wilson said in a press release. “I want to give a big thank you to all of the fans who have continuously showed up and showed out this year. We can’t wait to see you nationwide on the “Country’s Cool Again Tour!”

Two years, Wilson landed her first number one spot with her platinum-certified ACM Song of the year, “Things a Man Oughta Know.” Her most recent number one hit, “Watermelon Moonshine,” marks her fifth number-one single, making her the first female artist in two years to reach number one on the Billboard Country airplay chart.

Tickets go on pre-sale Oct. 23 and will be available for general public purchase starting Oct. 27 at 10 a.m.
