WILMINGTON — Greenfield Lake Amphitheater welcomed another sold-out crowd Friday, April 14, as Indigo Girls made their debut in the outdoor venue.

Opening was American folk singer-songwriter Lilli Lewis, who played through an hour set on keyboard. She performed original tracks from her seven-album catalog as well as a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.”

By the time the Indigo Girls took to the stage, the crowd was cheering their welcome and at the onset of “Ozilline” sang along to practically every track throughout the evening.

The two played numerous tracks from their 1989 self-titled release, including “Land of Canaan,” “Closer to Fine” and “Kid Fears,” the latter originally recorded with REM’s Michael Stipe. A great deal of the setlist came from their subsequent ’90s releases, including “Ozilline,” “Power of Two,” “Shame on You,” and “Least Complicated.”

Violinist Lyris Hung performed with Emily Saliers and Amy Ray onstage, as the two switched between electric and acoustic guitars and mandolin. Both Ray and Saliers. did a solo track, one from Saliers’ upcoming musical. “StarStruck.” Lewis joined them back onstage for an encore.

Below is the setlist from the show and photos captured by Tom Dorgan, MoonFrog Media.
