WILMINGTON — It’s been nearly four months since the Magnolia Social Café in River Lights closed for repairs, but now the restaurant is ready to welcome hungry patrons once again.
Founder Tammy Tilghman is excited to open Magnolia’s doors to the residents of Riverlights and beyond.
“As one of the first businesses to open at Riverlights, Magnolia offered Riverlights residents a place to gather amongst neighbors. During recovery post-Hurricane Florence, Magnolia partnered with other community businesses to provide hot meals for first responders and Wilmington residents in need. From the early stages, [Founder Tammy] Tilghman and her staff have made a point to immerse themselves in the lives of their patrons,” according to a press release from Riverlights.
The signature menu at Magnolia’s will return with items like the Port City Sandwich, the wattle and waffle, and the moonraker melt.
“I was crushed to learn we would need to close the café while we resolved the issues at hand,” Tilghman said. “The café has become a part of a daily routine for many Riverlights residents. We were devastated to lose that face time with our loyal customers.”
Magnolia Social Café is located at 109 Pier Master Point in RiverLights and it will resume its previous hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
