Diamonds and Denim Ball raised $16,000, distributed by Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation

Three Brunswick County groups received the Brunswick Sheriff's Charitable Foundation's donation.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — After the Diamonds and Denim Ball in February, Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation announced it raised $16,000 to benefit three local charities.

The eighth annual ball, held at the St. James Community Center in Southport, included a live and silent auction.

Established in 2012, the Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation, Inc. provides permanent capital charitable support and service in Brunswick County, according to a sheriff’s office release Wednesday.

Brunswick County Computers 4 Kids, Brunswick Novant Medical Center Foundation, and Southport Oak Island Animal Rescue received the foundation’s donation.
