WILMINGTON — DermOne of North Carolina, a dermatology practice group, will no longer provide services to patients at six locations after Friday, March 9, according to a press release.

In addition to North Carolina, several DermOne locations in Texas, Virginia and New Jersey will no longer offer services after March 9.

On March 6, Schweiger Dermatology Group announced that it had acquired nine New Jersey locations of DermOne Dermatology.

DermOne of North Carolina will no longer offer services at their locations in Burgaw, Clinton, Jacksonville, Southport and at its two Wilmington locations. DermOne patients are being referred to Atlantic Dermatology.

The DermOne-affliated Scarless Vein Care on Rock Spring Road will continue to offer vein care services.

If clients need to access medical records, they will be available here until March 9. After March 9, medical records will be transferred to Crane Dermatology Associates, which will serve as the medical records custodian.

If patients need to receive a copy of medical records or need them transferred to another physician, they should contact Jonathan Crane at 910-251-9944.
