The potential threat of bad weather in eastern North Carolina has shifted several local football games. Below are listed dates and times for each game heading into week three of the high school schedule.
Most of the games have been moved up to Thursday night. Below is a list of games now playing Thursday, Sept. 1:
New Hanover (1-1) travels to Havelock (2-0), 7 p.m.
Hoggard (1-1) travels to Pine Forest (2-0), 7 p.m.
Laney (1-1) takes on Lee County (2-0) at home, 6 p.m.
Ashley (1-1) takes on Fairmont (0-2) at home, 7 p.m.
West Brunswick (2-0) travels to North Myrtle Beach (2-0), 7 p.m.
Topsail (1-1) travels to Dixon (0-1), 6:30 p.m.
South Brunswick (1-1) takes on Pender (0-1) at home, 7 p.m.
