WILMINGTON — Dorothy Ruth Allder, age 80, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
A celebration of Ms. Allder’s life will be conducted at on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, 801 S 10th St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Interment will follow at Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Lisa Stubbs (Maurice) of Clayton, NC, Linda Allder of Charlotte, NC and Peter Allder of Columbia, SC; siblings, Benjamin Chadwick (Aileen) of Memphis, TN, Rosa Lee Handley of Wilmington, NC and Larry Chadwick (Diane) of Hampstead, NC, three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
