WILMINGTON — Jacqueline Faye Caison, 62, of Leland, N.C., tragically passed away on August 1, 2026, as the result of an automobile accident on Highway 17. She was born on September 27, 1963, in Wilmington, N.C., to the late Agnes Marie Eason.
Jacqueline was a beautiful, fun-loving woman who prioritized being a mother above all else. She was also a deeply loving daughter, nana, sister, wife, and friend. Despite her busy life, she always found time for her passions, frequently attending arts and crafts vendor shows under the name “Mother Daughter Crafting.”
She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Eason; her husband, Phillip Malpass; two daughters, Tracy Marie and Heather Nicole; and two grandsons, Anthony and Tyler Turner.
Jacqueline’s memory will be cherished by her surviving family, including her husband, Tracy Ahearn; three daughters, Samantha Bell (Danny), Kristin Ahearn, and Haylie Malpass; her sister, Tina; and her two brothers, Sam and Larry. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
