Timothy Joel Schedler, Sr., a devoted family man and lover of the outdoors, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, in Wilmington, NC, at the age of 68. Born on January 25, 1958, in Springfield, IL, Timothy lived a life full of adventure, love, and dedication to his work and family.
Timothy spent 25 years as a Logistics Driver with Jade Tank Lines in Wilmington, NC, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Outside of his professional life, he had a profound love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, farming, and riding motorcycles. Above all, Timothy cherished the time he spent with his family, creating lasting memories with those he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Joel Schedler, and his sister, Jennifer Lynn Stirrat. Timothy is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Jenkins Schedler; his children: Timothy Joel Schedler, Jr. (Amanda), William Brandon Savoca (Brittany), Blair Elizabeth Forde (Rommel), Jeff Benton (Tracy), Lauren Ray, and Alex Bradley (Ashton); and his mother, Marcella Bergman Schedler. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Ronaldo Forde, Grayson Forde, Damian Forde, and Cade Savoca.
Timothy is also survived by his siblings: Jana Albritton (Mike), Joyce Crouch (Terry), Beth Hales (Craig), and Ron Stirrat. His nieces and nephews, Meredith Albritton, Mallory Albritton, Greg Stirrat, Ashley Crouch, Marci Crouch, Tyler Crouch, and Riley Crouch, will fondly remember him.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in memory of Timothy Joel Schedler, Sr.
Timothy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
