WILMINGTON — Nancy H. Hill, age 79 of Wilmington, NC passed away on June 23, 2026 at Novant Hospital.
Nancy was born on May 2, 1947 in Charlotte, NC. She worked at UNCW for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and making beautiful greeting cards in her stamp room.
Nancy was preceded in death by both her parents Ramey Hicks and Helen Patrick and her husband of almost 49 years Ronald “Butch” Hill.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Tim) Leary and her granddaughter Sara (Brian) Watkins and her great-granddaughter Maylon Watkins all of Wilmington, NC. One sister Barbara Parker of Waxhaw, NC and many nieces and nephews.
We miss her terribly but know she is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior and we know we will be together again.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Winter Park Baptist Church, 4700 Wrightsville Ave Wilmington, NC. Mike Womble officiating. Family visitation will be held 1hr prior to service.
