WILMINGTON — Eva L. Cannon passed peacefully June 21, 2026, at the age of 97. She was born on December 13, 1928 in Brunswick County, and resided in Wilmington, NC for most of her adult life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie L. Cannon, Sr., and two daughters, Dixie Moen and Connie Humphrey.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara Mills, a daughter, Dawn Moltumyr, two step daughters, Mary Dowless and Teresa Ward, a stepson, Donnie L. Cannon, Jr., 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28412.
