ROCKY POINT — Mark Madison Squires passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on October 22, 1955, in Lumberton, North Carolina, Mark lived in Rocky Point, North Carolina.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Peggy (Littleton) Squires.
He spent most of his career working with General Electric and he spent much of his free time doing things he loved like riding his motorcycle, hunting, and fishing.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Squires; two step-daughters, Tammy Zachry and Amanda Itara; sister, Susan Craver; brother John Squires; niece Pierson Squires; and grandchildren, Makenzie Stevens, Izabela Itara, Jasyn Itara, Brittany McHone, Carmen Zachry, Robert Zachry, and Marcus Zachry.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
