SOUTHPORT — Belvin J. Barker Jr. 69 of Southport, North Carolina, passed away on April 13, 2026.
Mr. Barker was born August 18, 1956, son of the late Belvin J. Barker, Sr. and Jacqueline Gilley Barker. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and had been a police officer. Mr. Barker owned and operated a radio sales and repair business.
Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, Ping Liu; two children, Natasha Byrd and husband Blake, and Belvin J. Barker, III; a grandchild due to be born in June; and six siblings, Barry, Bruce, Pam, Denise, Lisa, and Cindy.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
The family requests that instead of sending flowers, that you plant a tree in Belvin’s memory.
