LELAND — Durrell C. Clemmons, age 40, of Winterville, NC (formerly of Leland, NC) passed away Monday, February 23, 2026.
A celebration of Durrell’s life took place on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Love Faithfully Ministries, 171 Old Fayetteville Road, Leland, NC 28451.
Interment followed at King Memorial Cemetery.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Ashley Clemmons of the home; children, Ashton Clemmons and Averee Clemmons both of the home; mother, Tia Clemmons of Belville, NC; father, Daniel Walker, Jr. (Janie) of Wilmington, NC; siblings, DeLaurence Walker (Amber) of Wilmington, NC, Phillip Walker (Keisha) of Greensboro, NC, Janiya Walker of Wilmington, NC, LaTissa Davis of Raleigh, NC and Jamaal Green of Leland, NC; paternal grandmother, Hazel Patterson of Wilmington, NC; mother-in-law, Kari Hill (Deon) of Clayton, NC; father-in-law, Christopher Walker of Syracuse, NY and a host of other relatives and friends.
