WILMINGTON — Paul Rene Beaudreau, 77 passed away Sunday, Jan. 18th, due to complications from COPD.
He was born on September 24, 1948, in Putnam, Ct. to Zephir and Stella Beaudreau.
He is survived by his daughters, Renee Meyer (Jon) of Bayshore NY, and Nicole Chaminade of Franklin Square, NY, grandchildren Sam Meyer, Ben Meyer, and Jake Chaminade. He was predeceased by his parents Zephir and Stella Beaudreau, wife Anne Beaudreau, and brother Richard Beaudreau.
Paul spent his early life in Putnam Ct., then moving to NY with his father and brother. He had several occupations while living in NY, as an iron worker, jeweler and truck driver. He and Anne moved to NC in 2012 to enjoy the beach which he loved. Paul met the final love of his life, Lynn, in 2014, and they were able to have many wonderful adventures together which gave him great happiness. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his daughters and grandsons at various life events and was very proud of their accomplishments. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Paul was a friend to all animals and loved spending time outdoors in nature… whether the mountains or ocean.
He will be remembered for his kindness, warmth, and love to his family and friends.
