WILMINGTON — Frank Schwinn of Wilmington, NC passed away early February 3, 2026 peacefully in his home with his beloved wife by his side.
He was born in Heidelberg, Germany on November 10, 1956.
Frank leaves behind his loving family and wife Marsha Schwinn. His two sons Chase Schwinn (wife Kayli) and Barry Padgett (wife Nina). The son of the late Edwin Schwinn (father) and present Celeste Schwinn (mother). Frank’s siblings include brothers: Eddie Schwinn and Billy Schwinn (wife Stacey). Also his sisters; Cissy Pointer (husband Clarence) and Pam Barrett (husband John). His grandchildren include James, Bridger, Rosemary, Barry Jr, Brayden, Amaia, Jaidin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was a devoted member of Covenant Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, surfing, working in the yard and spending time with family and loved ones.
A memorial service will held at Covenant Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11am.
