WILMINGTON — For 31 years our world was blessed by the life of Storm Michael Schultz who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2026 at his home.
He was born January 26, 1994 in Stark County, Ohio, the son of Tammie Jo Barnett Schultz and Kelly Schultz and his wife, Julie.
In addition to his parents Storm is survived by his wife, Kaitlyn Marn Schultz; daughter, Lainey Schultz; sister, Dawnanna Squires (Stephen Haggett); niece, Chayse Haggett; nephew, Korbin Haggett; cousin, Jeriann Lucas; special friends, Steve Carter (Anna), Ray Byrd (Shannon), and Wes Corder; many extended family members, and dear friends. Not to be forgotten are his beloved canine buddies, Drake, Buster, and Remi.
Storm was currently a superintendent at Thomson Corder Company where he oversaw civil site work.
Storm had a larger-than-life personality and a world of friends. He was kind, generous, and always willing to share and help others. He was an outdoorsman enjoyed years of hunting, fishing, and boating. Whether he was working, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying being in the woods or out on the water, his love of life was boundless. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on through the love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
