HAMPSTEAD — Thomas Webb Lewis Jr., 1934-2026, of Sneads Ferry, NC passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 surrounded by family, in Charleston, SC.
Born in Wilmington, NC, he worked at a very young age as a deck hand & net puller on fishing boats, stable boy caring for horses, and assisted with deliveries at a florist wholesaler. Additionally, he worked as a pin setter at Lumina Pavilion bowling alley on Wrightsville Beach before moving to Charlotte to begin building his career as an award winning 3 color pressman and supervisor in the printing industry.
Tom (T.W.) was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janice Lewis. He is survived by his sister Deanna Cook, children, Thomas W. Lewis, III, (partner Renee Cardone), Donna Amoroso (husband William), Debbie Lewis-Manni (husband Robert Manni), Donald Lewis (wife Christina Lewis) grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. preceded by a visitation at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel.
