LELAND — Leona Ryan, 70, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Leland, North Carolina. She was born on March 4, 1955, in Coal City, West Virginia, to the late Noel and Margaret Allen Bolen.
Leona worked for many years as a medical receptionist, a role that reflected her caring nature and dedication to others.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Allen Bolen, and by her spouse, Richard McPherson. She is survived by her father, Noel Bolen, and by her devoted daughter, Amanda Alverson of Leland, North Carolina, who lovingly cared for her mother during her later years.
