WILMINGOTN — Karen Clay Beatty, age 72, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025.
A celebration of Ms. Beatty’s life was conducted on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 4925 New Centre Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to service.
Interment followed at Enoch Chapel Church Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Karena R. Brown (Karim) of Sacramento, CA and Patrice A. Brown of Wilmington, NC; mother, Essie Clay of the home; companion, Wayne Moore of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Charles Clay Jr. and Russell Clay (Daisy) both of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Chloe, Deacon and Ezra all of Wilmington, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
