WILMINGTON — Sylvia Hollar, 81, of Wilmington, NC went to be with the Lord on September 23rd, while surrounded by many loved ones.
Sylvia was preceded in death by the love of her life, Roland Hollar. She was born Feb. 3rd 1944, the youngest of four girls to Stacy and Lillian Matthews. Surviving is her daughter, Stacie and grandchildren, Jesse and Madeline Hansen.
She was a member of Scott’s Hill Baptist Church and her Celebration of life service was held there on Friday, September 26th at 2:00 pm.
The family would like to express their heartfelt and sincere appreciation for the many acts of kindness shown to them during this difficult time. Please continue to remember them in your thoughts and prayers.
In the midst of despair and hopelessness there is still joy, for she has gone to be with the Lord and we shall meet again. Glory to God for He alone is worthy of all praise.
