WILMINGTON — James Anthony Tyznar, born on February 14, 1937, in Brooklyn Kings, NY, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Wilmington, NC, at the age of 88.
James dedicated much of his life to his work as a warehouse manager for a communications company, where he was known for his diligence and commitment. Outside of his professional life, he found joy in spending time with his family, tending to his garden, casting a line while fishing, enjoying a round of golf, and observing the world from the comfort of his front porch.
A devout member of the Knights of Columbus, James lived a life grounded in faith and community service. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved sibling, Carol Tyzner.
James leaves behind his cherished wife, Mary Tyzner, their five sons, and six grandchildren, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a time and date to be determined, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the life of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
