HAMPSTEAD — Harold Warren Fuchs, age 82, of Hampstead, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
Born on November 22, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, Harold proudly served in the United States Navy before beginning a long and successful career with UPS, where he worked in management. Following his retirement in 1996, Harold and his family settled in Hampstead, where he embraced the quiet beauty of coastal living and the camaraderie of his community.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Kathleen (Downes) Fuchs; his three sons, Shawn Fuchs and wife Shawn, Lance Fuchs and wife Megan, and Jeffrey Fuchs and wife Caitlin; and eight beloved grandchildren: Domonic, Gianna, Brody, Jase, Landon, Calyn, Stella, and Ford.
He will be remembered for his love of cars, golf, reading, and sharing stories with friends. Harold’s sharp wit, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Porters Neck, North Carolina.
