SOUTHPORT — Robby Wayne Hewett, age 51, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Robby was born August 9, 1973 in Southport, son of the late Clayton and Emma Hewett. He was an avid outdoorsman who took any opportunity to be in the woods or on the water. He was a devoted father and husband but especially took his role as a pawpaw seriously. He had a heart the size of him and would do anything for a friend in need.
He is survived by his wife, Tanna Hewett; a son, Bobby Hewett and wife Kristen; four grandchildren, Kinley, Anna, Wesley, and Stetson; a sister, Kathy Hewett Cribb; and nieces and nephews, William, Amanda, Curtis and Myia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Robert Cribb.
A celebration of his life will be held 4 pm Friday, April 25, 2025 at Sonrise Baptist Church, 8375 River Rd SE, Southport, NC 28461.
