As an adult Doris grew a large garden, was an amazing seamstress, and a fabulous cook (her chicken ‘n pastry and banana pudding could win blue ribbons). For many years she was involved in a Genealogy Society. Doris was a sharing, caring lady who often volunteered to help others. Doris was loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Burgaw Chapel with Patrick Harrison conducting the service.
