Betty Lou Olson Allen, born March 21, 1942, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Betty Lou touched countless lives with her unwavering kindness, strength, and infectious smile.
As a mother, Betty Lou was a beacon of unconditional love and wisdom. She raised three children, Sheila, Tim, and Christina, instilling in them the importance of compassion and perseverance. Her daughter Sheila preceded her in death, and Betty Lou carried Sheila’s memory in her heart every day. Betty Lou’s dedication to her family was unwavering, and she took great pride in the accomplishments and lives of her children and grandchildren.
Betty Lou had a deep love for gardening, Scrabble, trivia, and cooking, which brought joy to those around her. Her quick wit, cookies, pumpkin bread, and sweet treats were legendary among friends and family and will be remembered fondly.
She is survived by her children, Tim and Christina (Kevin); grandson Wilson; granddaughter Elizabeth (Bryan); and great-grandchild Kaylee, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the warmth of her spirit.
Betty Lou’s life will be celebrated at a later time, to be determined.
She will be profoundly missed but leaves behind a legacy of love and grace that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
