TOPSAIL BEACH — Our dear mother, Elizabeth “Betty” McClung Anzalone passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 85.
She was a wonderful mother, who was always there before we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance.
A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community of Scott’s Hill Bluff, and Topsail Presbyterian Church, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, knowledge and strength.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anzalone, Jr., of 61 years in February 28, 2022.
She leaves behind a daughter, Amy Barnett, and a son John Anzalone, III and his wife Roz. She also leaves 4 loving grandchildren, Casey Barnett, Ben Anzalone, Andrew Barnett and Megan Anzalone, a sister, Hope Bradley, along with many nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity.
Friends are invited to say goodbye to Betty at Topsail Presbyterian Church on December 13, 2024 at 2 pm.
