WILMINGTON — Bernadette Wilder (née Felker) unexpectedly passed away November 9, 2024, at the age of 61.
Bernadette, who was born on December 3, 1962, in Whitman, MA, lived many years in Halifax, Plympton and Middleboro, MA, before relocating to Wilmington, NC, where she resided at the time of her passing.
Bernadette, or Bern/Bernie to her family and friends, will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.
She is survived by her children, John Wilder (Caroline) of Texas and Rebecca Wilder of Utah; her mother, Marie Felker, and her sister, Theresa Scott (Dave), both of Middleboro; as well as her nieces Jennifer (Kevin) of Maine, Kristin (Shane) of Maryland, and nephew David (Reagan) of Carver, along with many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her father, David Felker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Bernadette’s life and the many ways she touched the lives of others.
