CAROLINA SHORES — Jacquilyn Marie Cota, 37, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Jacquilyn was born in South Burlington, Vermont on June 9, 1987, and was the daughter of Nancy Beth Naas Cota of Shallotte, NC and the late Robert Peter Cota, Jr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother, Eleanor Lofland and maternal grandfather, John Naas, Jr; her paternal grandfather, Robert P. Cota, Sr., and paternal grandmother, Barbara Margaret Kane.
Jacquilyn was a graduate of Neshaminy High School and later took online IT college courses. She was a talented artist and was working to set up her art for sale both locally and online.
Surviving are two children, Jordan English and Taylor Lane; her mother, Nancy Beth Naas Cota, of Shallotte, NC; maternal grandmother, Carole Naas of Carolina Shores, NC; six aunts, three uncles, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a celebration of life service announced at a later date.
