CASTLE HAYNE — James E. Fulling, 85, slipped away from his earthly home to his eternal home on September 12, 2024.
He was born in New York City and attended University there. After a long career he retired from Chrysler Corporation.
Jim was known for his love of family, keen intelligence, sense of humor and love of nature. We will always remember his generous nature and leprechaun smile.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-four plus loving years, Florence Victoria (Vicki) and by Dana Freed DiColandrea (Dominick), Mark Fulling, Susan Barrett, James Barrett (Patti), Brenda-Jean Iaccino (Lou), twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Forever in our hearts and minds. We will greatly miss him.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Castle Hayne, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Lower Cape Fear Life Care would be appreciated.
