WILMINGTON — Ernest “Trey” Cleveland Skipper III, 39, died on Thursday, July 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 6th, 1984 to Ernest “Skip” Cleveland Skipper, Jr. and the late Kim Williams Skipper of Wilmington, North Carolina.
In addition to his father, Trey is survived by his maternal grandparents, Joseph N. Williams and Margie P. Williams of Wilmington; sister, Brittany S. Moore and husband, Daniel, of Ivanhoe; nephews, Dawson R. Moore and Townsen O. Moore and niece, Hadley R. Moore.
Trey enjoyed fishing, trying new recipes, his family, and working alongside his father at Skipper’s Plumbing Service. He had an infectious smile and was known as the life of the party. One of his biggest joys was Tech. When it came to computers, there wasn’t much he could not do nor build. He had recently taken on a new hobby and was the sole content creator of Tskip Gaming. He treasured his family and friends deeply and always loved big!
