HAMPSTEAD — Ellen Marie Vogler, 44, of Hampstead, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Wilmington.
She was born February 23, 1980, in Maryland, to Jim A. Skunda and Kathy M. Skunda.
Ellen grew up in Severn, MD. She was a lifelong learner and was a graduate of Seton Keough High School, Salisbury University (undergraduate), University of Maryland-Baltimore, where she held a master’s in social work. She was a devoted mother, wife, and servant of God.
Survivors include her husband, Kurt Vogler; children, Nathan, Alaina, Ava, George, Cecilia and Michael; parents, Jim and Kathy Skunda and sisters, Kathleen Hopson and Amy Davis.
The family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, July 25, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 26, at All Saints Catholic Church.
