WILMINGTON — Mr. George Washington Carter, 87 of Wilmington passed away on June 9, 2024 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
George was born in Sampson County, NC on February 22, 1937; son of the later Clarence and Penny Sutton Carter.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force.
A memorial service will be held on Friday June 14, 2024 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. (1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington, NC) Time of service will announced soon.
