SOUTHPORT — Martin “Marty” Bond Kesmodel, age 87, of Southport, North Carolina went home to be with his Lord on May 16, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Evelyn “Teal” Kesmodel; children, Michelle Kesmodel (Jimmy), Marty Kesmodel Jr., Daniel Butler (Tammy), and David Butler; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Michael, Caleb, and Heidi.
Marty lived a full life. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, member/chaplin of the BSL Fire Department, BSL City Commissioner, and Mayor of BSL! He was a retiree of Carolina Power and Light Company. Marty enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. He enjoyed time with his family, a round of golf now and then and being “Mr. Mayor” to Heidi. He will be forever loved and surely missed.
