WILMINGTON — Molly Ashlyn Rohlfing passed away on May 8, 2024 in Wilmington, NC. She was born on October 3, 1994 in Charleston, SC.
Molly had the biggest heart and always put others’ needs before her own. She lived her life to the fullest, impacting the lives of many with her unconditional love. Molly’s smile could light up any room, and she made everyone feel loved and important. Molly accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was young. She lived her life loving, giving and serving others. We are just now seeing the impact that Molly made everywhere she went.
She is survived by her father Mark Rohlfing, mother Lynne Rohlfing, twin brother Grady Rohlfing (Sarah), sister Kaitlyn Rohlfing, brother Austin Rohlfing (Megan), niece Ellie, nephew Sawyer, Aunt Karen Brown, Aunt Laura Rohlfing, and Aunt Julie Allen (Scott).
Molly attended Shepherd University in West Virginia on a basketball scholarship before graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cape Fear Community College. She worked at Novant Health Wilmington in the Emergency Room and later traveled as a Registered Nurse before being hired at Novant Health – ED North in Wilmington, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00PM Friday, May 17, 2024, at Scotts Hill Baptist Church. Reception follows.
Burial will take place at 10am, Saturday, May 18, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park.

Molly will be remembered for her love of outdoor activities, riding her motorcycle, spending time with her Arabian horse Mischief, going on walks with her three dogs and enjoying family gatherings with her siblings and parents.
