CASTLE HAYNE — Oral Dixon Ramsey, 70 of Castle Hayne, North Carolina passed away on April 28, 2024. He was born in Onslow County, NC on November 26, 1953 to Alton D. Ramsey and Mozelle Markington.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his wife Joanne Ramsey and brothers: Daniel Ramsey and Roy Lee Ramsey.
Oral is survived by his sons: Donald and wife Susan of Coldwater, OH, Joseph Ashley; daughters: Osha McNeill and husband Terence of Springlake, NC, Alice Ramsey and husband Jair of Fayettville, NC ; ten grandchilden: Brittany Drake, Tiffany Johnston, Alexis Leonard, Christian Mitchell, William Ramsey, Sia Mitchell, Donovan Ramsey, Kendrick McNeill, Caitlyn Ashley and Caleb Ashley; five great-grandchildren: Waylon Johnston, Lillianna Johnston, Judah Drake, Archer Leonard and Lucas Johnston; sisters: Catherine Lennon and husband John and Alice DeMart and husband Alan.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Coble Funeral & Cremation at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28412.
The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
