Betty volunteered at Davis Medical Center for several years, sharing her warmth and kindness with those around her. Her career was diverse and fulfilling, including roles as an extra in various movies filmed in Wilmington, which brought her joy and many memorable experiences.

She provided invaluable support to her husband during his time in the United States Air Force and throughout his academic endeavors, assisting him as he pursued his undergraduate and graduate studies. She continued to support him throughout his long career with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Betty will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
