WILMINGTON — Michelle Lee Whitaker, 47, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
She was born June 9, 1976, in Pigeon, MI.
Michelle was devoted in her faith, loving mother to her two children, faithful wife, selfless and had a love of angels and the color purple. She loved the outdoors and flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Whitaker; children, Grace and Willis Whitaker; mother, Amelia Matthew (Mike); father, Doug Smith; siblings Amy Rodriguez (Ricardo), Scott Smith (Karen) and Brandon Smith (Lacey); in-laws, Wade Whitaker (Helen), Mikel McMullen, Nicole Miller and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 4-6pm, Monday, April 22, at Andrews Valley Chapel.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm, Tuesday, April 23, at First Baptist Church of Carolina Beach, 409 N. Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach.
