LELAND — Howard Joseph DiPiazza, MD, age 68, of Leland, NC passed away on March 16, 2024.
He was born in Rochester, NY on May 31, 1955 to Genevieve Alessi and Thomas DiPiazza Sr.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Accomplished radiologist in the Washington metropolitan area and avid woodworker, guitarist, chef, and bicyclist.
Survived by his wife, Sally Pineault DiPiazza, daughter, Amanda Jeanne DiPiazza (Thadd Williams), son, Anthony Thomas DiPiazza, PhD (Amber DiPiazza, PhD), granddaughter (Taylor Jeanne Williams), and older brother, Thomas DiPiazza Jr., JD (Maureen DiPiazza).
A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 in Leland, NC.
