WILMINGTON — Our beloved wife and mother, Dolores Norfleet Boudreau, age 86 of Wilmington has gone to be with the Lord our Savior on Monday, December 11, 2023.
She was born in Rocky Mount, NC on September 7, 1937 the daughter of the late, Linwood Hall Norfleet and Helen Christine Strickland Norfleet. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christy, a grandson, Edward and a son-in-law Tommy Owens.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Edward Lloyd Boudreau; four children, Cheryl Sholar (Wayne), Laura Owen, Linwood Boudreau, Tina Walker (James); grandchildren, Lisa, Kelly, Tonya Sholar, Nina Nixon (Ray), Michael Sholar, Toni Crowley, Great grandchildren, Mindy, Emily, Kaylee, Noah, Joseph, Alyssa, Dylan, Everly, Khole, Brendan, and Jordan; a great- great-grandchild, Elijah.
Dolores Boudreau was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandma and great-great-grandma. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Our mother was our rock. She was there for us not matter what time day or night. She had a heart of gold and was ready to help anyone and will be greatly missed everyday she is not with us. Mom, we love you forever and ever. A celebration of Dolores’s life will be at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, 5524 Myrtle Grove Road Wilmington, NC 28412.
The family will receive family and friends at their home, 320 Julia Drive Wilmington, NC 28412 following the services at the church.
