WILMINGTON — Donnie Lee Cannon, Sr., age 85, of Wilmington, NC went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2023. He was born on April 19, 1938 in Horry County, SC to Malcom and Luttie Cannon.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Connie Humphrey and Dixie Moen.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eva Cannon. Daughters; Mary Dowless (Clark) and Teresa Ward (Ricky). His son Donnie Lee Cannon, Jr. (Lisa). Stepdaughter, Dawn Moltumyr (David); 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Donnie enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of Sturgeon Creek Hunting Club in Brunswick County. He also hunted in Pender County.
Donnie was a long time member of Lake Forest Baptist Church.

A Graveside Service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Wilmington, NC 28412 on October, 17, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Donnie Lee Cannon, Jr will be officiating.
